Dear Peter and Melissa, 
Thank you for meeting with Clare, myself and my wife Julie on Tuesday 6th February to discuss the fund raising for Colin Milner (Clare's partner) who has been selected by Disability Bowls England to play at the International Bowls for the Disabled World Championships being held in South Africa from 18th to 31st May of this year.  It was our pleasure to meet you both and we would like to thank you for your most generous donations of the Round of Golf for Four, the Spa Day for two and the Easter Sunday lunch for two which helped us raise the amounts detailed below.
As discussed at the meeting, we had two fundraisers arranged for Colin as the trip is to be self-funded by the bowlers.  Both of those fundraisers have now taken place, a darts tournament played at the Hoddesdon Labour Club on 9th February by 46 darts players from our local Friday night dart league which our bowls club Hoddesdon and Rye Park compete in and a Race Night on 17th February attended by sixty to seventy people also held at the Hoddesdon Labour Club.  Both evenings were a great success with a total of £705 being raised on the darts night with a further £1,800 being raised on the race night,  Your kind donations were placed in the raffle on the race night and played a huge part in us taking £1,250 on the raffle alone.  
You will be pleased to hear that Colin will be travelling to South Africa thanks to your kind generosity and the generosity of the people supporting the above two events.  We cannot thank you enough for your support and would like to share some pictures taken on the race night with you.

Hi Peter
I wanted to write and thank everyone involved at the Hertfordshire for making my 60th Birthday Party celebration so special.
Everyone said how fab the venue was and how great the room looked - it was amazing to see it all complete when we arrived. The food went down really well with lots of compliments. We were looked after so well by the team and Melissa was fantastic throughout.
Thank you to everyone involved once again.
On another note, many thanks for the improvements going on at the club.  I've been a member for more than 20 years and the changes have been so good to see and hear about. The new lounge area in particular looks fab and a great addition

Hi Melissa! 

We had the most amazing day for our boy! Honestly you made the whole process amazing and stress free! I cannot tell you how many other places we tried before we found you and we had nothing but bad communication and hassle. 

You have been amazing with communication and accommodated out every need and tweaks along the way with patience and kindness, your memory and planning was outstanding and you ensured everything was perfect in the lead up and on the day.

The food was delicious, the main was tasty and not dry at all which is always a risk with chicken. The starter was delicious but a few people commented that they would have loved a slightly bigger portion.

The decoration and standard and cleanliness of the venue was outstanding and the staff were friendly and quick! 

Honestly for us it could not of gone any more perfect and you have been amazing and accommodating from start to finish. The grounds and entrance were also a wow factor and the price of the whole event was extremely reasonable considering all of the above factors. Thank you for making so much time for us along the way ! We will be recommending you and the venue to all of our friends and family !

Hi Melissa
Just want to thank you and the rest of the staff for making our evening so good. The meal and the service was fabulous and everywhere looked so seasonal.  The restaurant looked lovely. Our singer topped it off and generously sang for double the tone we booked as everyone was enjoying it so much. As you could see some of our members are not so mobile anymore so appreciate a coach trip so was great.
I am planning to do an afternoon tea later this year.

Good morning 
I just wanted to thank you & your colleagues for making My Uncle's 85th Birthday such a special day. The room looked pretty, the food outstanding (so compliments to the kitchen staff please) & the waiting staff professional & attentive. 
I would especially like to thank the lovely young lady who I should have asked her name, (dark hair & glasses) for whom nothing was too much trouble.
I would definitely recommend the Hertfordshire as a venue.

Dear Melissa

I’m writing to express my sincere thanks for all your help in planning my husband's 60th Birthday party, held on the first Saturday of the New Year.  From the initial enquiry to planning the event, the food and set up arrangements, my daughter & I felt supported and confident that the party would be a success……and indeed it was.
On the day (and for weeks beforehand) I was slightly concerned about fitting everything in, as I had booked our favourite 9 piece SKA band and a disco, but you reassured me and everything was great on the night.  The food was fantastic, and a special ‘thank you’ must go to Conrad, who was brilliant and communicated with me throughout the evening.
My husband had a marvellous party - we all did - and I’ve had lovely feedback from our friends & family.  My son & his GF, and my daughter & son-in-law are already fitness members, and we are also hoping to join up shortly! 
Please could you extend my thanks to Conrad, and to all the staff working that afternoon/evening.  You should all be proud at what a fantastic job you do, and I would not hesitate to recommend the Hertfordshire GCC as a venue in the future.

Just a quick email to make you aware of my experience of holding a couple of events at the club this week.

I am pleased to say that the feedback from my team on Tuesday and our clients on the Wednesday was fantastic, they loved venue and the setting. The whole experience from the organisation with Melissa and Lauren – to the delivery by Mark and his team was 1st class.

Mark please send our thanks to Liana, Georgia and the really tall girl (sorry I always forget her name) as they great and made sure we were well looked after and kept the drinks flowing
